Teenage Boy Who Posed as a Girl Named *Kayla* Gets Plea in Facebook Sex Scam

WAUKESHA, Wis. – A Wisconsin teen who blackmailed dozens of fellow high school students into sex acts by using photos and videos obtained in a Facebook scam faces up to 50 years in prison after pleading no contest to two felonies Tuesday.

Anthony R. Stancl, 19, of New Berlin, had faced 12 charges that carried a maximum penalty of nearly 300 years. The investigation began after a 16-year-old boy told authorities he was being blackmailed into acts of oral and anal sex with Stancl. The boy, then 15, had exchanged explicit pictures of himself online with “Kayla,” who later threatened to spread his picture throughout the school unless he agreed to the acts with Stancle.

Stancl photographed those encounters, giving him fodder for further blackmail, detectives said. The boy agreed to at least four sex acts, but when “Kayla” asked him for a nude photo of his brother he went to his parents and the police. Police identified 31 victims, each of whom exchanged nude photographs or videos with someone they thought was a female. More than half said the person with whom they communicated threatened to release the images unless they agreed to let the person’s male friend perform sex acts on them. The investigation overlapped with a separate case in which Stancl was accused of writing a bomb threat on a bathroom wall at the school in November 2008 and following it up with an anonymous e-mail to two teachers that said, “Good luck tomorrow. Boom.”

Anthony Stancl leaves court after he appeared in Judge James R. Kieffer’s court room at the Waukesha County Court House Tuesday December 22, 2009. Stancl, of New Berlin, Wisc., pleaded no contest Tuesday to two felonies. In exchange, prosecutors dismissed 10 other charges. Stancl is accused of using a Facebook scam to blackmail dozens of male students into sex acts.

Stancl admitted to detectives he sent the e-mail from the public library under a false identity. A charge of causing a bomb scare was among those dismissed as part of Stancl’s plea agreement. (source)

Weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear when you get up close to them. ~John Shirley”

Excuse me for not writing anything yesterday. I wasn’t busy with much but work, I thought that I would just give myself a lil break to catch up on some much-needed rest.

I watched Slumdog Millionaire last night, what a good movie. There was a challenge of hiring and directing three small local children who spoke only Hindi. One, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar (who plays the youngest Jamal), comes from a middle-class background, while the other two, Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail (who play the youngest Latika and Salim), are from Mumbai slums similar to those depicted in the film. Director Danny Boyle mentioned that he and the producers, cognizant of how a movie like Slumdog could change the kids’ lives for the worse if proper care wasn’t taken, had set up a trust fund for Ali and Ismail, accessible only if they enrolled in school — a first for both of them. “They’d never been to school,” Boyle said. “So they have to stay in school until they’re 18. When they reach 18, and if they’ve passed all their exams, a quite substantial sum of money — extra money [on top of their salaries] — will be released to them.”  I definitely recommend watching this very unique movie. It had some sad parts, some funny, and alot of love.

New Year’s Reflections

Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.
Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives.

And when I ponder those who do,
I immediately think of you.

Thanks for being one of the reasons I’ll have a Happy New Year!

By Joanna Fuchs

I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve. I went to a little function they had here, just imagine a warehouse / Middle School dance, that’s what the atmosphere was like. Barely any decorations, no drinks, no food, no nothing. There were a few people dancing, but, since I don’t study YouTube, then I’m apparently not up to the latest and greatest when it comes to “What’s In”.  I had a stupid gold 2010 hat on, and I’m still finding glitter in my hair, and on my face. Uuuuugh!

So, Mr. P went out with his “Crew” to a casino for new years. Of course the “Chick” was there, he didn’t tell me, but I already know. Anyway, I don’t know how it went, Tone Toni Tony was supposed to perform there, so I’m sure it was pretty cool. I e-mailed him, and left a message on his Facebook right at midnight ( his time) and I didn’t receive a reply. I didn’t expect to hear from him, because I knew he was out. I did think that he would have hit me up earlier in the day yesterday, but, He has the name Mr. Predictable for a reason. He decided that he would send me an IM & e-mail at about 3 pm ( 2am my time). Really? Hmmm, so when I get to work I respond to his e-mail, and NOTHING. This reply to him was sent about 2 hours ago, meaning it would have only been 9 pm there. Like I said before… It’s 2010, I’m not going to sweat the small stuff, but It still kind of bothers me. I think I just feel really left out because he is making memories with others. I am ONLY out here to make extra money to better OUR future, and was hoping that I would receive the support that I needed but in my absence he just could really care less, at least that how it feels. It’s kind of funny that Mr. P will not get in contact with me, but he was sure on Facebook accepting friends… Why is this stupid boy trying to test my nerves? OOOOhhhhhh…. Okay, *DEEP BREATH*… I am calm, it doesn’t bother me the way it used to, either that or I’m really used to this shit…   UPDATE: So, just a few minutes ago, I receive an e-mail from him saying how silly he was for not checking his e-mail, only FB and IM, but he knows I’m at work, and can’t IM him, and I am on FB, so why not hit me up  on that? He said “Don’t ever worry me like that again”… Excuse me? I’m not the one that has waited for almost 24 hrs to hit him up…lol… it’s all good… I’m not gonna trip.

I think I might see whats playing at the movies tonight. I don’t have to work tomorrow, and I think I should stay away from my computer tonight, just in case I get the urge to make an uneccessary phone call. I said I was going to do things much different this year, and I would like to try my damnest to do that.

 My Horoscope for today is:

A guardian angel in a human guise could come to your aid today. You may not even find out about their intervention until much later. If things seem to smooth out especially quickly or if you receive some excellent news, be aware that it could be the result of someone’s advocacy on your behalf. Show the proper gratitude when the time comes. In the meantime, be an angel to someone else.

You Got Got!!!

EVERETT, Wash.  How’s this for a date from hell? A woman seduces you, leaves you naked and takes off with your valuables, including your car. Police say that’s just what Ashley Dawson did to an unsuspecting man. The alleged victim, Andrew Scarbrough, says it appears he went looking for love in all the wrong places, including the Internet. He hoped he’d found love when he met a woman on MySpace. The two met in person, and they went back to his place. He says they began to get intimate, and shedding their clothes. That’s when things went wrong in a hurry. “We went back to my house and next thing I knew she took my car, my cell phone, my wallet, my keys and my laptop,” he said. Scarbrough says Dawson, 19, lured him into the shower and told him she had a surprise. “After about a minute, I went, ‘Wait a second, something’s not right here.’ Jumped out and she was already gone,” he said.

Dawson never came back, but the bad date wasn’t over yet. Police found Scarbrough’s Mustang and towed it back to him. But Dawson stole it again a month later while it was parked outside Scarbrough’s workplace, according to prosecutors. Investigators found the Mustang at a Red Robin. They also found Dawson getting out of the car, and arrested her. Dawson appeared in court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to theft charges.

Scarbrough says he would have run after her the first time around, clothes or no clothes, if he’d caught onto her just a few moments sooner. “I have no problem doing that,” he said. “I’d be like, ‘Nope, my car.’ I’ll take the indecent exposure. I’ll chase her down.”
But Scarbrough, once bitten and twice shy, isn’t so bold about dating again. “Just reinforce that you can’t trust anyone anymore. There’s just no point,” he said. Scarbrough says he “feels bad” for Dawson.

Dawson was convicted of residential burglary two years ago. Her trial for this alleged romantic ripoff starts in February. (source)

NO SHIT!!!! US Admits Failure Over Terror Plot

Pictured Above: 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab

Al Qaeda terrorist cells have no shortage of ideas to destroy the U.S. We felt safe as a country for 8 years, but that sense of security was threatened on Christmas Day by a baby faced bomber who sat on a Northwest Airlines commercial jet with 80 grams of PETN sewn into his underwear.

The explosives with which the alleged Detroit airline bomber planned to blow up the aircraft were strong enough to blow a hole in the side of the plane, according to The Washington Post.

US authorities are still analysing a badly damaged syringe that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab allegedly attempted to use as a detonating device as the plane came in to land at Detroit airport.

PETN, an ingredient of of the highly explosive chemical Semtex, is undetectable by airport scanners and metal detectors. The powdery substance can be detected by bomb sniffing dogs and a simple body pat down.

Just 50 grams of PETN is all that is required to bring down a 727. 50 grams is the exact amount that convicted shoe bomber Richard Reid was found to be carrying on board American Airlines flight 63 in 2001. He is currently serving a life sentence without parole.

PETN has a lower tolerance to shock and vibration than TNT dynamite. Meaning, any little jolt can set the brittle explosive off. The underwear bomb was designed by a top Al Qaeda bomb maker in Yemen where 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab received the bomb ingredients and instructions.

Luckily, the inexperience of the bomber who failed to fully inject the trigger fluid into the PETN powder properly, saved the lives of the passengers. Only a part of the package containing the PETN exploded setting Umar’s legs, the floor under him and part of a wall of the fuselage ablaze.

A posting from January 2005, when he was attending boarding school, read: “I have no one to speak too [sic]. No one to consult, no one to support me and I feel depressed and lonely. I do not know what to do. And then I think this loneliness leads me to other problems.”

The United States, specifically the Obama administration, Office of Homeland Security and the State department, admitted failure over the terror plot to blow up a commercial airliner.

Matt Lauer gets to ask the question that he rightly says is on everyone’s mind: how could Janet Napolitano say that “What we are focused on is making sure that the air environment remains safe, that people are confident when they travel. And one thing I’d like to point out is that the system worked. Everybody played an important role here. The passengers and crew of the flight took appropriate action.” when the only things between the passengers of NW 253 and disaster were the passengers themselves and a faulty detonator? Napolitano says she was taken out of context. When questioned about the ignored watch lists, the only explanation White House press secretary Robert Gibbs could come up with was that the watch lists were put in place by the previous Bush administration. Is that some kind of excuse?

The rules on the lists have been in place since 2006. The Obama administration has been in office since January. If the rules on transferring people from watch lists to no-fly lists are a problem, shouldn’t that have been a higher priority than, say, revamping the entire American health-care system or pushing cap-and-trade bills? It seems like a bigger priority than flying to Copenhagen twice and coming home empty-handed both times, once on climate change and once on the Olympics. Of course, Barack Obama doesn’t have to worry about flying with radical jihadis from Nigeria when he travels abroad.

When she said “the system worked,” Napolitano wasn’t talking just about the other flights, but also NW253. Do any of the passengers on that flight think they were supposed to be part of the system? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you can’t bow down to terrorists, you can’t appease terrorists and you certainly cannot ignore them.

“How about a taste of your own medicine Doc?”

On Wednesday, pediatrician Dr. Earl B. Bradley, 56, was arrested. The state attorney general’s office said that Dr. Bradley has been using his private practice, BayBees Pediatrics, to rape and molest as many as 100 children over the last 11 years. As for now, he was only charged with molesting or raping at least seven of his patients, some of those being infants. These charges include 33 felony counts of first- and second-degree rape, sexual exploitation of a child by photo or film, and endangering the welfare of a child. Investigators are now trying to identify children seen on videos that they say the doctor made of his activities. Authorities have started contacting law enforcement agencies in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where they believe the doctor may have also seen patients. Dr. Bradley had been placed on suicide watch.

If that doesn’t make the bile rise up into your throats, check this out. Police seized at least six cameras, 100 DVDs and VHS tapes, dozens of reel-to-reel films and a small computer data storage device that contained videos of multiple forced sexual acts with child patients that included intercourse, oral sex and fondling. Some videos show the doctor yelling orders at toddlers, some of whom are crying or trying to run away. A detective who viewed the assaults described in court papers the 6-foot, 225-pound Bradley as having a “violently enraged expression on his face” in one video involving a 2-year-old. In my world, if you have actual video of this kind of shit, citizens should be able to legally blow his brains out. ( source)
